Colors, Numbers, Shapes

When I was three years old and alone downstairs, I lathed peanut butter onto pieces of bread. Then I stuck them to the wall. I kept to a grid pattern--very deliberate, and very organized. I eventually used up all the bread, so I got out some Uno cards and proceeded to cover those with peanut butter, sticking them to the wall alongside the bread. Colors, numbers, shapes--all stuck to the wall. When my Mom came downstairs, I knew I was in trouble so I dropped the knife and peanut butter and dashed off. My mom couldn't be mad at me, though--she was simply amazed. "It was like a whole mosaic," she describes. For some reason, this is my favorite story about myself.
